Myopia  control

Myopia or nearsightedness has become more prevalent in recent years. Today, more than 40% of Americans are nearsighted, and that number is increasing at an alarming rate, especially among school-age children.

Myopia, especially high myopia in children may contribute to sight-threatening complications later in life, such as retinal detachment, myopic maculopathy, and glaucoma.

Misight 1-Day contact lenses for myopia management in children are available in our office now. Misight contact lenses are the first and only contact lens approved by the FDA to slow the progression of myopia in children ages 8-12 at initiation of treatment. Call for more details.
